Please join us in supporting the Pickens County Day of Service on October 18th, 2025.

Serve Pickens is a one-day community wide event coinciding with the National Day of Service. The day begins at 8AM at Jasper United Methodist Church (85 W. Church St in Jasper) for a kick-off breakfast. Volunteers will meet their Big Canoe Volunteer Coordinator and team leader, get a t-shirt and “goodie bag” before heading out to their volunteer site for a fun day of Neighbors Helping Neighbors.  From construction and landscaping projects to sorting thrift store donations and care package creation, each organization will be the beneficiaries of volunteers coming together to help advance their missions.

Burnt Mountain Center (Pioneer Rd, Jasper) is a day care facility for low IQ adults. We will be doing external landscape clean-up.
